I'm using TweakMASTER Pro and find that it is using a lot of my CPU time. Why?

TweakMASTER Knowledge Base article KB0003

Actually TweakMASTER will use very little CPU time or resources once it is closed and back in the tray for about 10 minutes. Only when it activates to run a DNS update or clock synchronization, will that rise briefly. That is completely normal.

DU Meter is also typically installed with TweakMASTER Pro. It was also designed to use very little CPU time. If you are using Windows 2000/XP and discover an abnormal utilization of CPU time, use the following workaround which should solve the problem in most cases:

Open DU Meter options, and uncheck the "Semi-transparent window" option. Some video card drivers are not optimized for semi-transparency and it takes a lot of CPU resources to paint it.
