My registry shows a different MTU setting than the one reported by TweakMASTER.TweakMASTER Knowledge Base article KB0040If you find that the MTU showing in TweakMASTER doesn't correspond with an MTU value found in the registry, it would depend on which MTU you are talking about... TweakMASTER can set different MTU's for each adapter ...see the drop down list in "interfaces" on the advanced "Internet Optimization" screen. Note that Windows switched to using IPMTU settings in Windows 98/ME for dialup connections. You would typically use a different MTU setting for your dialup adapters and for any network card adpaters or broadband modems which generally prefer a 1500 MTU setting. A setting of 1492 is typical for PPPoE and sometimes for certain types of broadband... but whatever TweakMASTER shows should be accurate for the adapter in question.
