My TTL setting is reported different than what TweakMASTER reports it as.

TweakMASTER Knowledge Base article KB0043

TweakMASTER alters DEFAULT TTL value. It typically changes it to 128 if that is not what your computer has it set to. Most programs send IP packets using standard Windows functions, and never bother to specifically change the system settings for TTL.

However, if you use a ping utility other than TweakMASTER's Ping utility to see the server response and find a TTL other than the system settings listed, you should know that some ping utilities may specify a different TTL value.

If you check the options for Windows ping.exe (run "ping -?" from the command line), you'll see that you can specify any TTL you like.
