When I am playing online gaming, I often lose my broadband connection.

If you find that during gaming, you get a message that your connection has been lost, it may have to do with the size of the TCP Receive Window. Go to the advanced optimization screen and see what TCP Receive Window is set to. Try selecting your cable modem or network card from the drop down list of interfaces at the top of the screen. If you are not sure which is which, experiment. Select the interface related to your broadband connection, then try setting TCP Receive Window to a smaller value that where you have it now. Perhaps try the MSS*44 setting, reboot and see if that helps.
