Do I need to have TweakMASTER running to keep my Internet connection speeded up?

TweakMASTER will run at Windows startup. This is required to experience the benefits of functions like DNS Accelerator, Clock Synchronization auto updating or Keep Connected and for access to the full suite of TweakMASTER utilities. When you exit the main window, TweakMASTER Agent will still run in the background. It is designed to use minimal resources.

However even if you exit TweakMASTER completely (use "Terminate" from the right-click menu of TweakMASTER Agent), once registry settings have been optimized, they will remain that way until modified by the user or when TweakMASTER is uninstalled and the system is returned to its original status.

There is an option under the "Options" in the "File" menu which reads "Show TweakMASTER Agent icon". Be sure that is checked and you can tell whether it is running the background or not.
