How well does TweakMASTER work when when compared to XYZ Optimizer?

While we haven't tested every so-called "optimizer" out there, we have indeed tested more than a dozen competing software, and ALL of those we tested were lacking in some way, and some so badly that they really couldn't work at all. It seems advertising hype in this business far exceeds attention to technical correctness.

PC Magazine did a comparative review. TweakMASTER was rated the best and it has been improved even further with version 2.0.

One thing is certain... there is no similar utility out there that will do it BETTER than TweakMASTER. Certainly a utility can only insert "recommended" settings on the first pass and one program's "recommended settings", if they manage to do them correctly for your operating system and type of connection, may work better than another for a given set of circumstances.

But TweakMASTER offers plenty of options for manually adjust those settings, and experimentation with different combinations of settings is the ONLY way to really be sure you are getting the most from your connection, despite false and deceptive marketing claims to the contrary.

And TweakMASTER will tell you what settings you have when you first install it IF you skip over the wizard (which you can run again at any time.) Or you can use the 'original settings' button AFTER running the wizard to see what they were before installing TweakMASTER... I doubt your "other utility" has that feature (I have not seen another one that does.) TweakMASTER will also allow you to reset all settings to Windows defaults...

And of course it has several other great features... the DNS Accelerator feature, for example, handles maintaining the windows hosts file more intelligently than any other utility I am aware of. You should also appreciate the automatic PC Clock Synchronization feature, as well as ISP Disconnect Prevention if you have trouble getting disconnected from your ISP. TweakMASTER also offers Ping, Traceroute and WhoIs, and the Network Connections Viewer utilities. Restoring your original settings as described above will only affect the MTU optimization settings and not these other features, which many people have reported are well worth the program cost by themselves.

All in all, we feel TweakMASTER is superior to any other utility of this type... we have received MANY positive feedback comments from other users to that effect and we welcome your input as well.
